Retired machinist. Now he throws pots.
Walt spent a working life making metal parts to the thousandth of an inch. These days his hands are in clay instead. He started throwing to keep busy after he retired. Now the kiln runs most evenings, and every burner that leaves the shop, he made and packed himself.
